My laptop has unresolved dpkg problems and now intermittently goes on holiday or into slow motion mode. Sometimes it recovers but most of the time it crashes - meaning it won't obey any commands . No trackpad clicks, no tabs, no arrows THEN the only way out is to crash out with the power button.
