Thanks for providing the PPA. However, the problem still persists. I can still open the terminal and type commands, but the behavior is slightly different. Previously, typing reboot produced no response, while on the 6.17 kernel the reboot command executes successfully. Other commands, such as 'ip a', still cannot be executed. Therefore, I believe this issue should not yet be considered resolved.
