After using strace I found several .desktop files that caused the crash. I'm attaching one of those in case that someone could debug tint2conf to pinpoint the buffer overflow. Unfortunatelly that is beyond my capabilities. However, I've checked that the file is linux encoded (0a line delimiter) and it has same permissions and ownership that similar files that were apparently proccessed OK.
I hope some one can find the bug because customizing tint2 by text is somehow cumbersome.
