I'll report using the other method. I can't now produce the problem regularly, a certain set of operations will show the bug 3 times in a row, and then the 4th it works.
I'll reframe the bug to say that firefox gets into some state where it will not load some URLs. Is it worth bothering with an strace of the session until the buggy URL thing happens? Thanks, B.
