I noticed regression in newest LTS 5.15 kernel on Ubuntu 22.04, using on
Mint 21.3 on old Macbook Air 3,1 Late 2010 with nouveau on NVIDIA MCP89
/ GeForce 320M.
Kernel 5.15.0-157-generic works OK with nouveau, can log in to Cinnamon DE
(Ubuntu 5.15.0-157.167-generic 5.15.189)
Kernel 5.15.0-161-generic freezes on boot in terminal screen before
lightdm/DM is started, then journalctl of previous boot's journal shows
after choosing 157 kernel in grub:
