I got these errors every now and then, once in four, five days or so but it varies enormously. Also using firefox when the system crashes. The file I attached does have a statement about font stuff (concerning Xorg probably?) The /var/log/gdm/:0.log.1 file also mentions this backtrace (identical).
The syslog gives me Jan 15 18:31:54 desktop gdm[5432]: WARNING: gdm_slave_xioerror_handler: Fatal X error - Restarting :0 So, it would seem that it could have something to do with fonts? I mean, firefox is probably rendering its fonts using the Xserver? (dont know I am no developer :)) I have no other users installed so I cannot confirm these crashes by logging in as another regular user.
