Public bug reported:

Hello ,

ghave installed afresh 25.10 with standard desktop;
proceeded to install amdgpu driver for graphics card,
and uninstall pipewire/pulseaudio for better
graphics and audio experience.

however, uninstalling pipewire/pulseaudio seems to unnecessarily
uninstall the whole desktop somehow, basically breaking the desktop and
leaving the OS unusable after reboot.

tried to avail with "sudo tasksel" and install mate-desktop manually,
but still getting not past login-screen.

why would uninstalling a package or audio-"driver", package like
pulseaudio break an "advanced" operating system in 2025?

please offer a remedy,

thanks.
