Public bug reported: When installing 6.06.2 for sparc on a T1000 or T2000 from network, I encounter the following failure:
[!!] Configure the clock Installation step failed An installation step failed. You can try to run the failing item again from the menu, or skip it and choose something else. The failing step is: Configure the clock I tried running the failing item again but it still fails. I attached the resulting syslog file from the installation. The relevant line is probably the following: (process:28696): /var/lib/dpkg/info/clock-setup.postinst: 39: (process:28696): os-prober: not found (process:28696): WARNING **: Configuring 'clock-setup' failed with error code 127 So, I tried running os-prober from the shell which returned: /bin/sh: os-prober: not found I then tried a find in / for the file and it is not on the system. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: hwct -- 6.06.2 sparc installation fails when configuring the clock https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/183256 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
