Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs
There is an error in the commandline examples given for setting up Exim4 for mailman in the Ubuntu Server Guide. " Once Exim4 is installed, you can start the Exim server using the following command from a terminal prompt: sudo apt-get /etc/init.d/exim4 start" apt-get doesn't accept /etc/init.d/exim4 as a parameter, and I'm sure the correct command is: sudo /etc/init.d/exim4 start This bug is present in the online 7.10 documentation as well as the yelp docs installed with 7.10. https://help.ubuntu.com/7.10/server/C/mailman.html /usr/share/gnome/help/server/C/mail.xml ** Affects: ubuntu-docs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- error in commandline example in mailman setup from the Ubuntu Server Guide. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/183148 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
