Public bug reported:
The Wi-Fi connection works for a few minutes and then randomly
disconnects. A system notification appears with the error "Connection
failed: Activation of network connection failed". This happens on a
fresh installation of Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.
Crucial Information:
The Wi-Fi works perfectly with no disconnections when running Windows on this
same machine. This confirms it is a Linux-specific driver issue.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken: A full wipe and clean re-installation of
Ubuntu 24.04 LTS was performed, but the problem persists. Attempts to
disable power saving for the rtw89_pci driver have also not resolved the
issue.
