This is really frustrating. I have an Inspiron 1501 with AMD Sempron 3500+ 1G ram and an ATI Xpress 1150 256MB HyperMemory video card.
I did a fresh install of gutsy in late december. It worked okay at first, but after a week, the system began to crash. Sadly, it seems like the crashes are becoming more and more frequent. It crashes when I'm idle, and it seems to crash more frequently when it is idle. When I have time, I will compile the latest stable kernel to see if it fixes things.
