Thanks for the analysis, I concur that just walking back the entire thing seems like the best approach.
However, the timing of this worries me. Why was this transition started in the first place? Publishing history says you synced rust-pyo3 a week *after* FF! I can't find an FFE bug for it either. Looking at the schedule, I guess it might have been related to the Gnome beta somehow? But if so, then that means a subset of those packages must be necessary for *something*?! Our tooling is notoriously not that reliable to track relationships in the Rust ecosystem, hence my caution here... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2122135 Title: Remove incomplete rust-pyo3 transition from questing-proposed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rust-pyo3/+bug/2122135/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
