Some new observations: I tried the snap build from
https://launchpad.net/~nteodosio/+snap/ff-
krb/+build/2896075/+files/firefox_142.0b9-1_arm64.snap and that didn't
work, neither did it generate any meaningful log output.

I tried the current cheese snap stable branch and that also doesn't work but
gives me:

What's interesting is that it seems to work partly. On my device there
are a few unusable v4l2 camera node s and one that actually works. In
wpctl status this shows as:

 ├─ Devices:
 │ 38. Qualcomm Camera Subsystem [v4l2]
 │ 43. Qualcomm Camera Subsystem [v4l2]
 │ 44. Qualcomm Camera Subsystem [v4l2]
 │ 45. Qualcomm Camera Subsystem [v4l2]
 │ 46. Qualcomm Camera Subsystem [v4l2]
 │ 58. Qualcomm Camera Subsystem [v4l2]
 │ 59. Qualcomm Camera Subsystem [v4l2]
 │ 60. Qualcomm Camera Subsystem [v4l2]
 │ 61. Qualcomm Camera Subsystem [v4l2]
 │ 62. Qualcomm Camera Subsystem [v4l2]
 │ 63. Qualcomm Camera Subsystem [v4l2]
 │ 64. Qualcomm Camera Subsystem [v4l2]
 │ 65. Qualcomm Camera Subsystem [v4l2]
 │ 66. Qualcomm Camera Subsystem [v4l2]
 │ 67. Qualcomm Camera Subsystem [v4l2]
 │ 68. Qualcomm Camera Subsystem [v4l2]
 │ 69. ov02c10 [libcamera]

It seems the cheese snap can select the "Qualcomm Camera Subsystem" ones
but not the libcamera one.
