The `dmesg` output confirms that NetworkManager is overriding your
`crda` setting because your wireless access point is broadcasting its
regulatory domain as "US." To fix this, you must edit the
`/etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf` file to explicitly set the
country to `AU` under the `[main]` section. This will force
NetworkManager to ignore the regulatory information from the access
