Public bug reported:

GNOME lock and switch user buttons crashes the desktop when using
lightdm (X is killed when it tries to respawn in a loop eating 100% of
CPU).

Switched to gdm and didn't experienced the proble so i can confirm it's
related with lightdm or lightdm-gtk-greeter.

Saw a couple of similar bugs but they're very old, this is happening on
Ubuntu 25.04

I can provide coredump if helps.
