Public bug reported:
The updater reported that 7.10 was available for download, I have
currently 7.04 on the machine, it downloaded the packets, then reported
that download, or update failed, possible due to internet problem. This
does not make much since to me, since all other updates, and installed
programs downloaded and updated/installed fine, through the update
manager, add software, and the packet program.
I did find some wiered problems with the way the router was behaving
toward the machine, but the diagnostics I was able to perform on the
machine reported no problems with the nic.
I don't have it connected to internet currently, will at some point in
the future connect it to internet, at church, to attempt to install all
new fixes/updates, and even 7.10.
