You shouldn't be using 535.230 as 535.247 has since been released in standard Ubuntu repos.
sudo apt purge *535* sudo dkms remove nvidia/535.230.02 --all #just to be sure sudo apt clean && sudo apt update Now look at: apt-cache policy It should show 535.247.01 as being the available version. And then you can install it as normal. Actually, is there a reason you're still using 535? Now might be a good time to install nvidia-driver-570-open instead. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2121303 Title: Laptop doesn't recognize monitor since 6.8.0-71 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-535/+bug/2121303/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
