Public bug reported:
Please remove rust-breezyshim 0.6.4-1ubuntu1 from questing-proposed. The
new version of rust-breezyshim requires rustc 1.86 because it uses
syntax that was experimental before that version. Ubuntu 25.10 defaults
to rustc 1.85 and that is unlikely to change since Ubuntu is now in
Feature Freeze. It is not practical either to rewrite the code to 1.85
compatibility or to try to build with rustc 1.86.
Instead, I'd like to upload rust-breezyshim 0.6.0 which is before the
rustc 1.86 code was added. To do this, I need rust-breezyshim
0.6.4-1ubuntu1 removed from questing-proposed first.
Resolving this issue is required to complete the large ongoing rust-pyo3
transition. rust-breezyshim 0.1.227-2 is not compatible with the new
version of rust-pyo3.
