I would like to confirm that this issue also exists on **Ubuntu 22.04 (Jammy)**.
Since the `dstat` source currently used in Ubuntu is no longer maintained ([dstat-real/dstat](https://github.com/dstat-real/dstat)), continuing to patch individual issues is not a sustainable solution. As [Torsten Bronger](https://launchpad.net/~bronger) already noted, the project is effectively abandoned upstream. It may be better for Ubuntu to update the package to use one of the actively maintained forks/replacements, such as: * [**dool**](https://github.com/scottchiefbaker/dool) (drop-in maintained fork), or * [**pcp-dstat**](https://github.com/performancecopilot/pcp/tree/master/src/pcp/dstat) (part of the Performance Co-Pilot project). This would provide users with a more reliable tool and reduce the ongoing maintenance burden of carrying local patches in Ubuntu. Would it be possible to consider switching the Ubuntu `dstat` package to one of these maintained upstreams for future releases? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1905665 Title: dstat --output is broken To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dstat/+bug/1905665/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
