Ubuntu does not plan to support the Nvidia 470.xx driver on HWE kernels
(like 6.14) from now on. There are some options to work around this -
- Option 1:
Use the 6.8 kernel series for the duration of Ubuntu 24.04 support
- Option 2:
Use PPA: https://launchpad.net/~kuba-t-pawlak/+archive/ubuntu/470-test
