Thanks for reporting this bug and helping us making Ubuntu better :)

Could you try hibernating after setting the boot parameters 'debug' and
'loglevel=7' [1] alongside turning off wifi and bluetooth? The dmesg
from that will help us narrow down what caused this regression.
