I discovered this same issue too in Ubuntu 24.04.2. Was about to raise
an issue until I saw that this issue had already been raised.

@anifyuli is correct to have pointed out that the /usr/share/gnome-
shell/extensions/[email protected] is missing its media sub-
directory which is available in https://github.com/Leleat/Tiling-
Assistant/releases/tag/v44 and also in this source branch.

I do not know why this directory is missing while it source code has it.
See git clone https://git.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell-
extension-tiling-assistant

In any case, can Ubuntu developers fix this issue given that the solution is
known since 20023-12-30, i.e. 1yr and 8 months?

Most users won't know such a popup menu and 4 tiling options are
available to them to use; it is presently not visible unless the mouse
pointer hover over it. Fixing this issue will improve user experience of
using Ubuntu 24.04.
