Code change looks good, but:

It's not entirely clear to me what the impact of this is? What is a non-
BR/EDR device? Is there a user-preference for auto-connect that this
might override?

My (limited!) understanding of the patch here is to set newly-paired
devices to autoconnect, which while a change in behaviour seems like a
reasonable one, but it's not totally clear to me.
