As discussed in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ruby-
json/+bug/2115398, the latest ruby-json version so far needs to be
packaged in Ubuntu, as it contains security fixes that should be
included.
However, some deprecated functionality is removed in this version bump,
and some packages still depend on this functionality, mainly by
depending on ruby itself, using the built-in gem (which is not
recommended anymore), and not on ruby-json.
We need to bring the new version and fix the packages that use the json
code as appropriate.
