I picked up this task because it's urgent and I saw nobody assigned yet. Turned out to be more complex than expected.
It is true that there is no transition for libglycin-1-0 -> libglycin-2-0, but there is a transition involving 2 packages for glycin-loaders -> glycin-2-loaders. Affected packages are loupe and shortwave (both rust). Loupe (currently pending MIR) we can easily update because it's vendored, but if we want to update shortwave it would have to become vendored too. I have a branch here: https://salsa.debian.org/ubuntu-dev-team/glycin/-/merge_requests/3 And a ppa build here: https://launchpad.net/~aleasto/+archive/ubuntu/tests/+sourcepub/17498077/+listing-archive-extra Still looking for debcrafters' help with the transition. ** Also affects: loupe (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: shortwave (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: gdk-pixbuf (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Wishlist -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2120186 Title: Update glycin to version 2.0~ To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdk-pixbuf/+bug/2120186/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
