From conversation with server team, we agree that now is a reasonable
time to remove the compat package in valkey. It was important for when
redis went non-free, but now users should choose which to stick with for
future releases. Updating the bug info to reflect that and adding a
release notes task for myself for later. I'll get this fixed by feature
freeze

** Summary changed:
- autopkgtest failure prevents migration of redis
+ Remove valkey-redis-compat for future releases
** Description changed:
+ Redis and Valkey are starting to diverge beyond drop-in compatibility.
+ With the introduction of Redis 8 in Ubuntu, the migration using the
+ compat package fails out of the box. valkey-redis-compat was only really
+ important when redis was non-free, so users could migrate in noble,
+ oracular, and plucky. For questing and onward, users should probably
+ stick with one or the other.
+
+
+ This bug originates from the valkey autopkgtest failure against Redis 8 (see
below).

valkey is failing the 0006-migrate-from-redis test, where it is unable
to run an existing /etc/redis/redis.conf
