Actually may I correct the bug description too: "Switching to NVIDIA-only mode (sudo prime-select nvidia) and rebooting makes the external monitor work normally."
This is actually incorrect, I could not get the external monitors working with sudo prime-select nvidia. In fact, I spent so long trying to fix this issue (I ended up reinstalling Ubuntu as well, since I thought I had some weird driver conflict/mismatch as a result of trying to install new drivers for cuda development). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2120239 Title: External monitor not detected on HP Spectre x360 (Intel UHD + NVIDIA GTX 1650 Ti) in any PRIME mode on Ubuntu 24.04.3 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2120239/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
