Installed Hardy Alpha on a Virtualbox virtual machine, and it runs at 800x600.
System/Preferences/ScreenResolution only offers 800x600 and 640x480, so I tried System/Administration/ScreensAndGraphics (why the split? it is far less than clear). ScreensAndGraphics loads up with all values blank in both tabs and in all the pulldowns.
