Public bug reported:

Hello,

I am experiencing issues with my keyboard on an ASUS E510M laptop
running Lubuntu 22.04.5 LTS. The keyboard layout is ABNT2 (Brazilian
Portuguese).

1. The main problem is that the question mark (?) and slash (/) keys are
not correctly mapped. When I press the dedicated key (next to the right
Shift key), it produces a slash (/) as expected, but the combination
`Shift` + key, which should produce a question mark (?), does not work.

2. I have also observed that the `Ctrl + Alt` key combination does not
register correctly. For example, pressing `Ctrl + Alt + W` is only
registered by the system as `Ctrl + W`. This behavior seems to be
blocking the correct mapping of some keys and prevents the use of
certain shortcuts.

3. I have tried several common solutions without success, including:
   - Configuring the keyboard layout via the `dpkg-reconfigure
keyboard-configuration` command.
   - Using the `setxkbmap -model abnt2 -layout br -variant abnt2` command.
   - Creating a custom `xmodmap` file and configuring it to be executed at
startup.
   - Creating a manual X11 configuration file at
`/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/00-keyboard.conf`.
   - Ensuring that the startup command is correctly placed in
`~/.config/autostart/` and `.profile`.

4. The temporary configuration with `setxkbmap` works fine for the
current session, but the problem reappears after a reboot.

It seems there might be a bug with either the Linux kernel on my
specific hardware or with the LXQt environment that prevents the
keyboard mapping from being loaded correctly at startup and also fails
to properly interpret the `Ctrl + Alt` combination.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
