This is still happening in August of 2025. Only on WiFi. I have a hardwired connection to one subnet, and a WiFi connection to a different router and subnet. Dunno if that makes any difference, but thought it might be good to share it.
I will come in on a morning and that prompt is waiting for me. Password in the dialog box, just waiting for me to press OK.
