Public bug reported:

That one's a bit special, but once we booted into 6.8.0-65.68, the BFD session
in bird wouldn't come up.
It was toggling between the states "Init" and "Down"

With the previous version 6.8.0-57.59 it would work ok (booted back into
that one to test)

# /usr/sbin/birdc -rv show bfd sessions
0001 BIRD 1.6.8 ready.
0016 Access restricted
1020-bfd1:
     IP address Interface State Since Interval

The bird.conf:

=== snip ===
log stderr all;

router id from "bond0";

# Lokale Devices/Interfaces einbeziehen.
# u.a. fuer die automatische Erkennung der RouterID notwendig
protocol device {
        scan time 10;

protocol bfd {

        interval 200 ms;
        multiplier 3;

        passive;
    };

    neighbor 141.42.4.42;
    neighbor 141.42.4.43;
};
