Thanks for the tag Jonas,
I do think this is now actionable by the changes needed landing upstream
- https://github.com/Tomas-M/iotop/compare/v1.28...v1.29
- https://github.com/Tomas-M/iotop/compare/v1.29...v1.30

Versions in Ubuntu
 iotop-c | 1.26-1 | noble/universe | source, amd64, arm64, armhf, ppc64el,
riscv64, s390x
 iotop-c | 1.27-1 | plucky/universe | source, amd64, arm64, armhf, ppc64el,
riscv64, s390x
 iotop-c | 1.30-1 | questing/universe | source, amd64, arm64, armhf, ppc64el,
riscv64, s390x

Thereby questing is fixed,
but backports for Noble/Plucky might need to be considered for having HWE
kernel option which would break it there.

I'll keep the tag until I heard what you wanted to say :-)
