Hello litmus3063 It indeed sounds very weird - Entering the encryption password should only unlock the disk, not authenticate the user session. Normally, you should still be prompted for your user account password.
I hope - This was likely a one-off authentication race or misconfiguration. Since the bug did not recur, it may be difficult for developers to fix without logs or reproduction steps, but your detailed report (and logs if it happens again) will be valuable for the maintainers in tracking down and patching a potential bug. I'll mark this public security in the meanwhile - so that others can see and provide feedback. ** Information type changed from Private Security to Public Security -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2119147 Title: Automatic log in into user account after decrypting disk To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2119147/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
