Yes, I switched to 1.1-1 because Gutsy Miro was having the very same problem. (see the first comment from Cesar Arguinzones on this bug for the output of Gutsy Miro)
I am playing youtube videos (flv). Totem-xine plays them with no problem. Let's make it more clear: - miro crash happen every time one follows the steps to reproduce I gave in the bug description. - miro *doesn't* crash if you skip to the next video and next and next again, until you get back to the main menu. playing another video won't crash it now. Seems like: - xine is not properly removed from memory / deinitializated / nuked / (add you own) when you stop it in the middle of a video. The next video will crash. I really don't know if the bug lies in miro's xinerenderer or it's a problem from xine that other application workaround in someway. My workaround was to avoid using xinerenderer (using gconf-editor, see my comment above). -- Miro crashes predictably when playing videos https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/182383 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
