Task for release notes: mention the discontinuation of very old machine
types

x86 <= 2.5

Thereby the pc-q35-xenial, pc-i440fx-xenial, pc_i440fx_wily and
pc-i440fx-trusty machine types that were based on these will also be
dropped.

What that means is that created in Xenial (16.04) can migrate to bionic, focal,
jammy and noble but will no more be able to do so to questing and later.
Noble as 22.04 will be operational until 2027/2032/2034 which means the guests
can continue to be hosted as-is until that time comes.
That is up to 18 years of lifetime of the guest, ready to drink alcohol in many
countries.
Of course if you use Xenial with all extra time of support it can offer and
spawn it on the last day of it in 2028, the support in the subsequent release
still able to host it will be "only" be for 6 more years which still is very
good.

I have to admit I'm somewhat happy that upstream forces us to let go of
the twisted wily type.

On s390x that cleanup was more aggressive removing all <= 4.1
Which means here focal stays, but all earlier (artful - eoan) are gone.
In this case the time period mentioned above starts from Bionic instead of
Xenial and hence is 2 years shorter - still able to drive in the united states
at least.

On ppc64 that has no impact as distro types started with disco and 3.1
and that type is still present.

On arm we never started to have a named types so far.
