So far I can only reproduce some critical warnings;

  (gnome-shell:26790): libmutter-CRITICAL **: 14:20:36.538:
meta_monitor_manager_get_logical_monitor_from_number: assertion
'(unsigned int) number < g_list_length (manager->logical_monitors)'
failed

  (gnome-shell:26790): libmutter-CRITICAL **: 14:20:36.538:
meta_workspace_get_work_area_for_monitor: assertion 'logical_monitor !=
NULL' failed

but I can't reproduce a crash. And that's using multiple monitors with
the Plucky version of gnome-shell.

What am I missing? Do you have any unusual extensions enabled?

  gnome-extensions list --enabled

Otherwise we will need more information about what screen layout you
were using at the time and what window(s) were fullscreen where.
