Public bug reported: On an encrypted kubuntu 25.04 machine I do see this error message while booting:
/scripts/local-bottom/cryptroot: line 34: realpath: not found There is no binary realpath in the initramdisk, and busybox is used as a shell. I noticed: The regular /usr/bin/busybox has a realpath command, but /usr/lib/initramfs-tools/bin/busybox hasn't. ** Affects: busybox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2118867 Title: cryptroot: line 34: realpath: not found To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/busybox/+bug/2118867/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
