Hi Kevin,

Hi,
Thanks for looking into this.
To answer your questions:
Is this bug a regression? It's difficult to say for certain, as this is a new
laptop (2025 Razer Blade 14) and this installation of Ubuntu 25.04 is the only
one I've used on it. The issue has been present since the initial setup.
Was there a prior kernel version where you were not having this particular
problem? No, since this is a new installation on new hardware, I don't have a
previous kernel version on this machine to reference. The current version
(6.14.0-23-generic) is the only one I've run.

What version of the amdgpu driver are you running? Here is the output
from apt-cache policy mesa-vulkan-drivers:

alissaknight@ravenclaw-wks-razerblade:~$ apt-cache policy mesa-vulkan-drivers
mesa-vulkan-drivers:
Installed: 25.0.7-0ubuntu0.25.04.1
Candidate: 25.0.7-0ubuntu0.25.04.1
Version table:
*** 25.0.7-0ubuntu0.25.04.1 500
500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu plucky-updates/main amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
25.0.3-1ubuntu2 500
500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu plucky/main amd64 Packages

I hope this information is helpful. The crash seems directly tied to the AMD
integrated graphics, especially when handling Thunderbolt connections to
external Apple displays (XDR Pro and Apple Studio). Please let me know if
there's anything else you need from me to help diagnose this.
AVK
