Ubuntu is unlikely to receive a newer version by sync'ing with Debian as the package was removed in early 2025 (see https://bugs.debian.org/1091918 and https://tracker.debian.org/news/1600652/removed-2210-4-from-unstable/). Upstream (the LXD team at Canonical) recommends that users install `pylxd` using `pip`, or directly from the GitHub repository at https://github.com/canonical/pylxd to ensure compatibility with current LXD features and APIs. Maintaining this outdated package in Ubuntu creates confusion and a degraded experience for users expecting full functionality with modern LXD setups.
