Argh, dovecot 2.4.1 is held up in proposed. Looks like it was due to an autopkgtest failure on interimap which has since been resolved (LP: #2059180), but given it's a merge it really should be published before we push anything on top of this.
Okay, that means I'm not going to have time to deal with all this during this patch pilot shift, so here's what I'll do instead: 1. Untag update-excuse on LP: #2059180 -- hopefully that should allow the dovecot merge in questing to migrate (update-excuses reckons it's a candidate otherwise) 2. Push my branch with what I *think* the questing upload should look like to https://code.launchpad.net/~waveform/ubuntu/+source/dovecot/+git/dovecot/+ref/ubuntu/fips- fix-questing -- another patch pilot should be able to upload that once the questing merge migrates -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2107773 Title: [SRU] Enabling FIPS causes SALT to be 8 bytes, but OpenSSL 3.0.2 checks if SALT is < 16 bytes, breaking Dovecot and possibly other packages.
