I have the same issue; both 6.8.0-63-generic and 6.8.0-64-generic have caused significant stability issues on my machine. apport crashes runc crashes python 3.12 crashes and CPU lock, causing a complete system freeze.
I decided to revert back to 6.8.0-60-generic, which worked without any issues on my Ubuntu 24.04 for months.
