Yes, I don't have the hardware at hand. I provided multiple ways of testing of various intrusiveness (not requiring reinstalls) in the hopes that we can convince someone to run at least one them them. That being said, they are essentially the same test.
Knowing it works in Questing and the Questing signature being identical to the on in Plucky means it pretty certainly works in Plucky too. The installer runs ubuntu-drivers list to pull in the extra package, without it it won't boot at all. ubuntu-drivers internally compares the signature in http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu- ports/dists/plucky/main/binary-arm64/Packages.xz with the local one in /sys/devices/virtual/dmi/id/modalias so grepping does the same thing as ubuntu-drivers which does the same thing as the installer. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2107692 Title: [SRU] Asus Vivobook S15 hwe-qcom-x1e-meta modsignature doesn't work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-x1e-settings/+bug/2107692/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
