Hi all, I was made aware of this today and want to make sure I understand the conditions under which a given platform would attempt to connect to these metadata endpoints.
Is it correct to say that this only ever happens if /sys/class/dmi/id/product_name is non-existent on the machine? (and thus, anything with /sys/class/dmi/id/product_name defined should be unaffected by this change?) Or is there more nuance in the trigger condition here? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2069607 Title: Remove hard coded IP addresses To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/charm-nova-compute/+bug/2069607/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
