Public bug reported: After installing the latest 6.14 HWE (6.14.0-24) on Ubuntu 24.04, the DS4 and DS5 joypads (PlayStation 4 and 5) fail to reconnect via bluetooth.
To be specific, the joypads do get recognized and paired and work fine. Unfortunately, upon switching them off an d then switching them back on, those don't get recognized and the joypads connect and immediately disconnect. The only workaround is to remove them from the paired bluetooth devices and re-add them again until the next switch-off, then rinse and repeat. 6.11 was working just fine, I have tested this with multiple DS4 and one DS5 device, it's all the same issue. ** Affects: nvidia-graphics-drivers-470-server (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2117168 Title: DS4 and DS5 (DualShock) Sony Playstation pads can't reconnect on kernel 6.14 (6.14.0-24-generic HWE) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-470-server/+bug/2117168/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
