Under Gutsy : In system-config-printer, the device URI is also : hp:/usb/DeskJet_895C?serial=ES9771C0R0FB With this URI under Gutsy, everything works except the automatic "power on" feature.
If I change the URI to : usb://HP/DESKJET%20895C?serial=ES9771C0R0FB Everything works even the automatic "power on" feature.
