Its dependant upon the Ubuntu repo versioning that was working on my rk3588 based board that was working before an `apt-get upgrade`. I have it as a repeatable case, I need support from Ubuntu to a) know why the repo reveted back to Gnome v44 from v46 b) if this is going to be reverted at all c) ideally to talk to an engineer about this issue. Otherwise Ubuntu is not supporting a range of arm64 boards BananaPi-M7, Radxa Rock 5B+, Sige 7, and possibly other hardware based on rockchip64 rk3588, and possibly other Mali-T760MP4 GPU based products. I have two different versions of these boards.
I am working out what is going on with Gnome, so would like to keep this issue open until I know what is going on as it does look like Ubuntu's dependence on specific Gnome versions. And I would still like to be able to run Ubuntu on my boards through development right through to production of products on them. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2116789 Title: Gnome v44 failing with blank screen on arm64 rockchip64 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2116789/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
