Public bug reported:

I have a laptop with integrated Intel UHD graphics and an NVIDIA RTX
4050, running Ubuntu 25.04. When the laptop is in hybrid graphics mode,
it boots into a black screen. However, after booting, I can lock the
screen and then log in again — at that point, the screen starts working
normally.

After that freezes occur when the refresh rate is set to 144Hz; at 60Hz,
the system is stable. I've tried multiple NVIDIA drivers (versions 545
through 575), as well as different desktop environments including KDE
and GNOME. I've also experimented with various GRUB parameters, but none
of these attempts have resolved the issue.

The problem persists across multiple Ubuntu versions: 22.04, 24.04,
24.10, and 25.04. Interestingly, when the laptop is in discrete graphics
mode (using only the NVIDIA GPU), everything works fine.
