Public bug reported: Recent upstream updates from RPI include a new bcm2712-rpi- cm5l-cm5io.dtb file for use with CM5 Lite compute modules (https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware/blob/master/boot/bcm2712-rpi- cm5l-cm5io.dtb). This file is referenced and selected as the appropriate DTB for this module during package install, but is not present in the package binary. This causes installs of the package to fail.
A temporary workaround is to cp bcm2712-rpi-cm5.cm5io.dtb to bcm2712-rpi-cm5l-cm5io.dtb in /lib/firmware/[version]/device- tree/broadcom/, which will then get picked up as the kernel is installed and updated. This bug has been present in the last several revisions of the kernel, but I do not remember where it first emerged. I was not sure whether to submit the bug into flash-kernel as choosing a DTB that doesn't exist or into linux-raspi for not including the DTB.
