"Do I need to update amdgpu from within 6.11.0.17 once more after restart"
No. It says the module built successfully and is installed.
Boot into the -29 kernel. Reboot into -17 kernel and get the journal from the
failed boot:
cd ~/ && sudo journalctl -b -1 > prevboot.txt
Attach it.
Note that Ubuntu does not provide the proprietary amdgpu module and
can't fix bugs with it. You're probably better off asking on support
forums.
