Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping make Ubuntu better. Can you please try linux-oem-6.14 6.14.0-1007.7 [1] from noble-proposed [2] and let us know if that is any better? Attach kernel logs please.
Also, let us know if using newer firmware helps. For that, do the following (as root): $ cd /lib/firmware/mediatek/mt7925 $ wget https://web.git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/plain/mediatek/mt7925/WIFI_MT7925_PATCH_MCU_1_1_hdr.bin $ wget https://web.git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/plain/mediatek/mt7925/WIFI_RAM_CODE_MT7925_1_1.bin $ reboot Verify that the new firmware is loaded: $ sudo dmesg | grep mt7925e The above should show a firmware build time newer than this: [ 18.954076] mt7925e 0000:c2:00.0: HW/SW Version: 0x8a108a10, Build Time: 20250305132908a [1] https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-oem-6.14 [2] https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2115883 Title: mt7925e: Very poor performance on wifi-6 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-oem-6.14/+bug/2115883/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
